I’m trained in both classic Chinese watercolor and oil painting, though these days I do all of my paintings digitally on an iPad.

I work in many visual styles, and when working with a client, I always take the time to conduct a thorough consultation to understand the assignment. I ask for image references and palette preference, and we discuss different ways of communicating the same subject from different angles or subtly different tones, as well as what cultural faux pas to avoid.

I work on private commissions, book cover designs, and editorial illustration. Rates are set after an assessment of the project on an individual basis.
